Misschien oud nieuws, maar vanmorgen in de mailbox:
Private Investors want to build a power station at the Austrian river Koppentraun, they want to drain the river with a 5.3 km long and 1.8 m fat pipeline.
This destruction of the best part of the river Koppentraun is ecological and touristical irrational...
The Styrian Salzkammergut would gain absolutly nothing with this power station, but would loose one of the last natural rivers in the styrian alps, a world famous flyfishing river, an international known paddle destination, an awesome wilderness hiking trail and jobs in tourism.
Only the private investors would be winners...
